A beautiful and rare set of ancient Pre-Columbian Olmecoid spotted jaguar river jade beads, dating to approximately 300 BC. These beads have been carefully and skillfully sculpted into this rare bone-like shape. The very hard stone material(approximately 6.5 on the Mohs scale) has a superb hand polish.
