Ancient Suns

This bead is almost perfectly round, a very rare feature in greenstone beads. The very hard dense stones and lack of modern tools, made a perfectly round bead a very high accomplishment. A bead like this may have taken months to make. The bead is likely early Mezcala Culture, or possibly Olmec, likely dating to 200 BC or earlier. Excellent condition.
