Ancient Suns

Very rare, long and slender Mezcala Culture, tubular bead. 200 BC. This greenstone bead demonstrates exceptional skill, on the part of the bead craftsman. It is interesting to note the similarity of this bead, with the long greenstone beads of the Tairona Culture. It is only by close examination of the stringing hole ends, that one can distinguish the two. This bead was sourced in what is now the State of Guererro. Excellent condition.
